New Chapter in Agricultural Progress between Andhra Pradesh Govt. and Jain Irrigation: N. Chandrababu Naidu, 3 Ministers along with thousands of farmers attend groundbreaking ceremony

We are very happy that Mr Chandrababu Naidu invited Jain Irrigation because he understood the faith farmers have in our Late Founder Chairman Shri Bhavarlalji Jain and his close association with farmers. The Project at Kurnool will be set up in an area of 623 acres which include the plants of drip, sprinklers, PVC pipes, HDPE pipes etc. which will be set up in stages from 6 months to nearly 3 years. The remarkable R & D work done by Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd (Jalgaon) in the development of agriculture globally received encomiums from the Andhra Pradesh Govt. The A. P. Govt. has invited Jain Irrigation to enable farmers in A. P. to have ready access to Jain’s hi–tech agricultural technologies at their farms. This project for which the groundbreaking ceremony took place today would soon give farmers opportunities for economic and financial development, stated N. Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh here.

He was speaking at the inauguration of the grounbreaking ceremony of Jain Hi–Tech Agri–Park and Jain Food Park in Tangadencha village in Kurnool district today. Mr Ashok Jain, Chairman, Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd., Mr Anil Jain, MD, Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd, Mr K. E. Krishnamurthi, Deputy Chief Minister, Andhra Pradesh, Mr Amarnath Reddy, Minister of Food Processing, A. P., Mr K Srinivasan, HRD & Guardian Minister (Anantpur), A. P. , Mr Satyanarayan, Collector of Kurnool and Mr A. Daiyya, MLA of Kurnool were also present on the occasion.

Mr Chandrababu Naidu, AP Chief Minister, further said this project has been kickstarted for increasing the agricultural production and development here. We have given special invitation to the Jain industry group on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh government to revolutionize the development of the lives of the farmers, to assimilate them with innovative technologies. We will make basic infrastructure available to multinationals like Jain Industries for the development of agriculture and farmers’ agriculture in Andhra Pradesh. We will make available the facilities of roads, electricity and water for the Jain industry group’s Food Parks within a month promised Chief Minister Naidu.

Mr. Anil Jain, MD, Jain Irrigation explained the role of the company. Jain Irrigation has already given priority to all–round development of farmers wherever we have began our projects. We have set up this project in A. P. with the same social responsibility and commitment for the all–round development of farmers and we will follow this commitment for life, he clarified.

Prior to that, A. P. CM Chandrababu Naidu unveiled the foundation stone of Jain Hi–Tech Park and Jain Food Park. Later, he also visited an exhibition displaying the various stages in Jain Irrigation’s development into a global company which included Tissue Culture Plantlets, innovative irrigation methods etc. CM Naidu also showed interest in understanding novel technologies and discussed about them.
