Plumbing Systems

Plumbing System in its totality is the system of pipes and fittings for the distribution of potable water at adequate pressure which can be used for drinking purposes and the disposal of wastewater from all the fixtures.

Underground Drainage Systems

In any industry, there are two types of drainage systems: Storm water drains and Industrial effluent drainage systems-cum-sanitary water sewers.

Storm drains are open drains on streets or closed pipelines below the ground. Storm drains discharge water as well as pollutants and litter is picked up on the way. Industrial effluent drainage system-cum-sanitary water sewers collect the industrial effluent from different process industries and the wastewater generated inside industrial buildings, such as sink, shower and toilet discharges. The effluent and wastewater is then transported through the sewer system to the industrial effluent treatment plant, where it is treated before being discharged.

The installation or rehabilitation of underground drainage systems can be significantly faster and easier with use of PE pipes and fittings.

Rainwater Harvesting System

Rainwater harvesting is an innovative alternative water supply system in an industrial area where the water for industrial processes is needed as a top priority. In this method, rainwater is captured, conveyed and stored for later use in industry. Implementing rainwater harvesting at each industrial building is beneficial because it reduces immediate demand on existing water supply, and reduces surface run-off in industrial areas, reduces ground erosion, and contamination of surface water along with industrial chemicals.

The rainwater collected can be used for landscape use, storm water control systems and toilet flushing and garden-lawn watering, in-house water uses in industrial buildings for sanitary purposes, fire protection etc.

By using a rain water harvesting system in industrial areas, it is possible to channelize rain water to recharge borewells, open ponds etc. using a pipeline and Jain Filtrain. This helps in increasing the underground water table level in industrial areas. Fluid Conveyance System

In this system, water, chemical or any type of fluid in an industry is conveyed through the network of interconnected PE pipes and fittings which are 100% leak-proof, with long life. The Life Cycle Analysis shows that PE pipes are totally eco-friendly due to their low energy consumption in fluid conveyance pipelines. Owing to their smooth internal surface, PE pipes need lesser electricity for pumping the water. Since PE pipes are flexible in nature, it can easily take the shape of ground terrain inside industrial areas or take the shape of the trench profile which directly leads to saving accessories. PE Pipes are available in required lengths up to 12m straight lengths.

The water conveyed through Jain PE pipes is fit for human consumption and as PE pipes are inert in nature any type of fluid, chemical, effluent can be conveyed. Filters

Water is not found in its purest form in nature. It is always contaminated with physical, chemical & biological impurities. Proper filtration is of much importance to prevent low pressure diffuser like emitters from clogging. Filtration system is the heart of the micro irrigation system. Filter is an insurance to guard against debris entering your irrigation system. There are different types of filters used for irrigation like sand separators, media filters, screen filters and disc filters. These filters are used for different types of impurities found in different types of water sources.

Dosing Systems

Dosing Systems is a method of fertilizer application in which fertilizer is incorporated within the irrigation water by the drip system, sprinkler system, pivot system. In this system fertilizer solution is distributed evenly in irrigation. For manual fertigation we can use Venturi, Fertilizer Tanks & fertigation pumps. Precision fertigation is also important in greenhouses / polyhouses where control and monitoring is key for success where we can use NutruCare and PreciMix fertigation machines with EC & pH control and monitoring system.

Sprinkler Irrigation

Sprinkler Irrigation is a method of applying irrigation water which is similar to rainfall. Water is distributed through a system of pipes usually by pumping. Sprinklers provide efficient coverage for small to large areas and are suitable for use on all types of properties. It is also adaptable to nearly all irrigable soils since sprinklers are available in a wide range of discharge capacity.

Gas Conveyance & Distribution pipes

PE pipes due to its multifarious advantages mentioned above, have made this system best for conveyance of natural gas/PNG, Propane, LPG and bioGas, since 1960. Gas Distribution was among the first applications of Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE) pipe. In fact, many of the systems currently in use have been in continuous service since 1960 with great success. Today, over 90% of the pipe installed for the natural gas distribution industry is plastic, and of that, 99% is polyethylene. Ducting & HVAC Pipings

In most of the industries, the ducting & HVAC piping system is the basic infrastructure that needs to be in place before the start of actual production at the shop floor. Because of better insulation properties, 100 years plus service life, leak-proof joints and flexibility of PE Pipes, nowadays, PE pipes and fittings are used in ducting and Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) applications.

For industrial ducting & HVAC piping systems, the PE Pipes and fittings are available as per Indian and International standards. The availability of custom made PE fittings is the main point of attraction of the consultant worldwide for using PE piping systems for ducting and HVAC piping.

PE Offshore Piping Systems

Jain PE pipes have been increasingly used for various marine applications such as effluent outfalls, river and lake crossings, fresh and salt water intakes. The combination of air and water; particularly seawater, can be very corrosive to conventional metal pipes hence PE pipes become the pipe of choice.

Other beneficial features like light weight, floatation properties, integral joints stronger than the pipe, flexibility of the pipe, convenient short cold bending radius etc., are some of the key elements. PE pipes that are used for offshore purposes can safely shift or bend to accommodate itself to altered bedding which is the result of under-scouring that usually occurs due to strong wave and current action under water.

The integral joints with high tensile strength have also made it possible to use the pipes for installation under water bodies by using the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) method. Jain PE pipes & fittings of up to 2000mm outer diameter have been used in India for the applications mentioned above. So far more than 220 km of Jain PE pipes of above size range have been used all over India for marine installations. Jain PE pipes and fittings are also available up to 2500mm outer diameter.

PE Fire Hydrant Pipelines

In all industries it is mandatory to have a fire protection system in place. Jain fire hydrant pipes and fittings are fire resistant (FR) PE piping systems for application in fire hydrant pipelines, fire fighting system, underground mines and where fire safety is a major concern. State-of-art testing facility is available in-house (flame chamber from Altas, USA) for conducting fire retardant tests. The function of FR chemical is to improve the Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI). LOI is a measure of the percentage of oxygen that has to be present to support combustion of the plastic. Higher the LOI the lower the flammability.

Jain fire hydrant PE Pipe significantly reduces the spread of flame in a fire. As a result of excellent localized surface charring properties, carbonaceous char forms on the product after being exposed to flames which effectively protects the pipe and its contents from ignition.

Design & Consultancy

Proper system planning and design is essential to irrigation water management and requires the thoughtful consideration of many elements. Selecting a system must include management, water, soil, and crops. Irrigation practice will be designed in accordance with all federal, state and local laws and ordinances. Micro irrigation Systems shall consist of acceptable pipe design and layout to distribute the water in a uniform manner for the intended life of the practice. Resource inventories, local conditions and the intended use will need to be assessed for the proposed Micro irrigation System design and location. A Micro irrigation System design will be developed with the client that meets the intended goals and objectives.
